My ongoing project "cache-cache" is a response to my experiences as a young girl and teenager who did not conform to society's ideals of beauty, as well as the patriarchal regulation of the female body in social media. This series of self-portraits is about reclaiming my own body. I want to have power over my body.

"Cache-cache" features nude photos that are intentionally provocative and attempt to push the boundaries of Instagram's regulations. How much nudity can I show and how can I show it without Instagram banning the images? It's a game of different perspectives, poses, layers, shadows and reflections. My body fades into the background, but is still a key player. It's this game of hide and seek that inspired the title of the series. The selected images have survived Instagram's algorithm.
