Liz Lambert, born in Luxembourg in 1993, has a Master’s degree in the study of religion and is a visual artist who works with photography.

Her work is both playful and precise. Instead of presenting the obvious, her photographs invite viewers to slow down, look more carefully, and engage emotionally. Through her minimalist, often fragmented compositions, she creates a subtle visual poetry that resonates beyond the image itself. What appears minimal at first unfolds through association and empathy.

Rather than staging her scenes, she works observationally, drawing inspiration from everyday life. She is deeply interested in corporeality and materiality, paying close attention to textures, gestures and subtle details that are easily overlooked in contemporary life. By making the ordinary visible, she reveals the underlying structures that shape our perception and behaviour.

Across her series, Liz weaves narratives that reflect on our individualised, capitalist society — at once intimate and gently humorous — offering a nuanced commentary on how we inhabit space, relate to one another and move through the world.
